Sitting Positions:

      Sit at the edge of the stool (for beginners, sitting fully on the stool will be easy for them to practice for long time). Put your two feet apart as wide as your shoulders with your feet parallel or slightly pigeon toed. The up part of  your body is up right. Draw in your chin a little and pull your crown point up ward. Relax your  two shoulders and lower  your two arms and open your elbows. Close your eyes and mouth slightly. Sitting on the stool  in a relaxed and comfortable way:

      As to hand position, you can reference following pictures. Choose one you feel good. 

                

      Half Lotus and Lotus are omitted, for the positions are difficult for patients to curve and press their legs.
